In addition to being a renowned healthcare attorney, Levi Long is also a licensed dentist and OB/GYN. As such, he understands the challenges physicians face when running their businesses. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Levi attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Levi Long is a doctor and a lawyer

He focuses his practice on commercial managed care, healthcare insurance, and physician group formation. He is also a recognized expert on medical staff governance and the corporate practice of medicine. Long also has over two decades of practical legal experience in both the criminal and civil courts. He has a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. in public health from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Phillips is a past-President of the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys
Before joining the firm in 1993, Mr. Phillips served as a naval officer on sea duty for four years. He later earned his MBA from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Health Care Administration from Trinity University. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Phillips has taught health care law at UCLA and Whitman College. In 2008, he was named one of the top 23 health care lawyers in California.
